You probably know that when you were little, your mother used to tell you what to do all day long. Even though you were sick of it then, when you grow up you realise that she was actually right. Whether you listened to your parents or not, here are the pieces of advice you should have considered:
1) Proper eating
Well, every mother has struggled with her child at a certain point in time on eating. Childhood is a period when we are very vulnerable because most of the problems occur at this time: unhealthy food (like the fast-food), disorders caused by the desire to have a perfect body (bulimia, anorexia), skipping meals, alcohol, smoking etc. Unfortunately all this disorders have a long term effect and can cause serious health problems.
2) Exercise!
Every parent tells their children to turn off the TV or PC and go do some exercises or a sport like football, martial arts, swimming and so on. If you still refuse to do so, you will gain weight and at a certain point you will have to admit that they were right.
3) Wash your hands!
Before every meal, you should wash your hands. In winter time, this habit becomes crucial because you can prevent a nasty flu. The frequency grows as you interact with more persons each day.
4) Put something on!
You may remember going out with your back poorly dressed just to look sexy. After a while, you develop kidney disease, rheumatic or genital and you start asking yourself: "was it worth it?"
